Now that Dr. Dre's Compton has hit the streets, attention has turned toward Kanye West's Swish album. As recently as this week, frequent Kanye collaborator Mike Dean came out and said that the album is still "in progress" and "Whenever Kanye says it's done, it's done." This didn't sit very well with Yeezus followers and they are voicing their displeasure to the highest ranks. A White House petition has popped up and demands that President Barack Obama order Kanye to drop the album next week:

"Kanye West has kept us thirsty for too long," says the petition. "We haven't gotten any new singles in months. The President should order Ye to drop the album on the date August, 21st as his producer Mike Dean has been teasing people about."

The petition currently has 268 signatures which is well short of the 100,000 signee goal. As far as the Aug. 21 date in the petition, it seems like the author was duped by a fake release date that was circulating around social media. Swish has no release date at the moment.

Other Ye disciples have commented on the project and Theophilus London tweeted that the album was played for him in Toronto:
