The Nicki Minaj takeover continues. Just days after being re-imagined in wax form, reports are circulating that a Nicki Minaj-themed video game is in the works and will be out next year. According to Buzzfeed, Glu, which is the same company that made Kim Kardashian: Hollywood mobile game, announced earlier this week that they are partnering with Nicki to create a new game based on her voice, "creative direction" and likeness. The game is set to launch in summer of 2016. "I am thrilled to welcome the undisputed queen of hip-hop, Nicki Minaj, to Glu's growing list of celebrity partners," said Glu's CEO Niccolo de Masi in a statement.

Glu had massive success with Kim Kardashian: Hollywood and the game brought in $74 million in revenue for the company. Glu is also making a game using action star Jason Statham's likeness and previously signed Katy Perry to make a game with the mobile developer. Other celebrities involved with Glu's programming are Kylie and Kendall Jenner and Britney Spears.
