The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards started off with a bang. Nicki Minaj began the show performing songs off her latest album, The Pinkprint. Dressed in a bright costume, similar to what she wore during her tour, the YMCMB artist opened up with "Trini Dem Girls" and transitioned to "The Night Is Still Young." When Nicki finished her first verse, Taylor Swift comes on stage and sings the chorus.

For those who forgot, Taylor and Nicki got into a public disagreement after the latter’s confusion on why her video for “Anaconda” did not receive a MTV Video Music Award nod for video of the year. The two would eventually make up. The two Superstars stood side-by-side as they performed the "The Night Is Still Young." After the song, Taylor Swift performed part of her colossal hit single off of 1989, "Bad Blood." At the end, Taylor and Nicki hugged and walked off stage.
