Spodee recently sat down for an interview with DJ Smallz and explained why he left T.I.'s imprint, Grand Hustle. In the video above Spodee was asked why are Grand Hustle and Defient logos were not on the cover of his recent mixtape Trench Muzik Vol 1. In response, the Atlanta rapper said, "Well you didn't see it because that relationship is no more. As far as doing music, as far as doing business, I severed those ties." Spodee goes on to say that he and the King of the South are still cool and are speaking. However, "it was just time to go" because Spodee "outgrew the situation." Although he understands that sometimes "to be a  chief, you have to be a good Indian," Spodee said that he "saw no way to be a chief [at Grand Hustle]" and he believed that he is "too grown, too big and too talented to be an Indian or a pawn right now." "It's no bad blood," said Spodee. "I'm not mad at Tip or anything like that. But I have the potential to be bigger than Tip, if not jut as big. So it was time man. I outgrew that."

Well T.I. did not like what Spodee had to say. Tip posted the photo below on Instagram, reminding Spodee and fans about what happens when you "go against [the] glory and good graces of" Grand Hustle. In the Picture were two former Hustle Gang members, Yung LA and DG Yola.

The young upstart responded with his own message on Instagram, saying T.I. shouldn't be angry at the truth (see below).
