Rich Homie Quan is suing his former record label, Think It's A Game Entertainment, for unpaid royalties that Quan claims are worth upwards of $2 million. According to TMZ, Quan says he is owed money for his hits "Flex" and "Type of Way" and that Think It's A Game's CEO used some of RHQ's owed money to buy real estate worth $159,500 in Atlanta. The lawsuit also states that the label head did not share the $550,000 distribution deal Rich Homie earned from Def Jam for "Type of Way." The rapper says he has cut all ties with the label, though he is likely still contractually signed. XXL has reached out to Quan and his camp regarding the news and will bring you more details as they become available.

Rich Homie Quan has been going through a rough patch in his career and this latest incident is just another to add to Quan’s growing list of headaches. Shortly after the release of his If You Ever Think I Will Stop Going In mixtape, an unreleased song titled “I Made It” that featured a lyric about rape leaked and the former XXL Freshman was on the defense. After publicly apologizing numerous times, Quan found himself on the defense again when another song with a rape lyric leaked. The rapper once again apologized and went as far as saying he’s “not a rapist” in an interview with Billboard.  “I do not condone or promote rape. I’m not a rapist,” he said in the Q+A. “That song was recorded in Dec. 2012. I was young and just rapping. At the time, I had no guidance in my life. I blame it on that. So I apologize once more to my fans.”
