The performers for the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards have been revealed. The Weeknd, Demi Lovato, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Pharrell Williams and Tori Kelly are performing at the VMAs. There is also a special collaboration between A$AP Rocky and Twenty One Pilots. MTV made the announcement on their Periscope account last night (Aug. 25). The two special performers that were blacked out in the initial announcement (see below) are also revealed. Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber will also take the stage.

Yesterday, it was announced that Kanye West will receive the Video Vanguard award. The prestigious award is treated as a lifetime achievement award and is given to musicians and video directors who have made groundbreaking and influential music videos over the course of their careers. Past winners include Beyoncé (who received the Video Vanguard award last year), David Bowie, Justin Timberlake, Hype Williams, Beastie boys, LL Cool J and more. Miley Cyrus will be the host of this year's MTV Video Music Awards, which airs on Sunday, Aug. 30 at 9 p.m.
