AfroPunk 2015 hit Brooklyn this weekend with a star-studded line up. Included in the list of headliners was iconic R&B singer Lauryn Hill, who took the stage to perform a rendition of remixed classics. Ms. Lauryn also performed songs from the tribute album to Nina Simone.

The annual festivities kicked off at Commodore Barry Park in Fort Greene, Brooklyn on Friday (Aug. 21) and wrapped up Sunday evening. Other performers included Kelis, Danny Brown, Grace Jones, Lenny Kravitz, 2015 XXL Freshman Raury and more. When Lauryn took the stage, she gave fans a show that included her own hits, as well as covers that she put together for Nina Revisited: A Tribute to Nina Simone. The tribute album dropped back in July, following Netflix's debut of the documentary, What Happened, Miss Simone? Lauryn ended up playing a major role on the LP, recording six covers for the album, along with Usher, Jazmin Sullivan, Mary J. Blige and more who also worked on the project.

The YBF posted videos of Lauryn's classic covers. Fans also caught footage of the legendary singer covering Nina's Simone's hits. Check out the recaps below.
