Kanye West has seen a number of his songs earn platinum and gold certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America this year. According to Forbesthis success was achieved by a combination of unit sales and sales equivalents including streams on Spotify and YouTube video plays.

Starting at the top of the year, 'Ye's 2007 single "Stronger" went septuple-platinum in February. Shortly after, Yeezy's 2004 debut and highly acclaimed The College Dropout achieved triple-platinum status in April. Several tracks off of Kanye's sixth studio album Yeezus hit milestones that month as well, including "Black Skinhead," "Blood on the Leaves" and "New Slaves," which all went gold, while "Bound 2" hit platinum status.

Another ten songs from varying albums in 'Ye's discography earned either platinum or multi-platinum status. These include, "All Falls Down,” "Amazing," "Flashing Lights," “Homecoming” and "Runaway," which received platinum certification. Kanye's "Good Life," "Jesus Walks” and "Power" all hit double-platinum status, with "All of the Lights" and "Heartless" going quadruple- and quintuple-platinum respectively. Yeezy's 2011 collab with Jay Z, Watch the Throne, saw "No Church in the Wild" achieve platinum certification and "Who Gon Stop Me" achieve gold. Ye's recent collaboration with Rihanna in "FourFiveSeconds" hit double-platinum status in June. Kanye's most recent accolade came with new songs “All Day” and “Only One,” which were certified gold in July. The two songs are the first we've heard since's 'Ye's 2013 Yeezus and are expected to appear on his upcoming Swish album.
