Hopsin has a bone to pick with the hip-hop industry. The "Crown Me" rapper hopped on Twitter late last night (Aug. 12) and expressed concerns with the direction of the rap industry. The Funk Volume head honcho—who recently dropped his new album Pound Syndrome in July— believes he is the only rapper in the game who speaks about substantial content. "The difference between me and other rappers is I actually care about earth and expanding our minds," tweeted the West Coast MC.

He believes that other artists' lyrics are filled with acquisitive topics, usually about "money, bitches, drugs and love." Hop aims to make music that has substance, as he says he is "probably the only rapper genuinely hitting subjects that will make [you] think about what the hell is really going on in this world."
