It's been one year since the killing of Mike Brown by police officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, MO. The event will forever be linked to the issue of race and police officer relations in the modern era of the Unites States. Riots and protests erupted in the St. Louis suburb all last summer, and by November a Grand Jury in that state officially declined to press charges against Wilson, something that still burns people up 365 days later. Today, all over the nation, people are holding memorials, both big and small, in hopes of lifting the name of the late teen.
