Straight Outta Compton, which brought in $60.2 million in its opening weekend in North America, already has a commercial TV home. Deadline reports that FX Networks have secured the rights to premiere the film on cable television. The hip-hop film will air on FX's group of channels — FX, FXX, FXM and VOD platform FXNow.

The N.W.A biopic is the latest blockbuster FX has secured the rights to. Mission: Impossible - Roque NationJurassic WorldFurious 7Minions and Trainwreck—all of which came out this year—are another handful of blockbuster movies that the network scored the rights to. SpyPixelsTerminator: Genisys,Ted 2Pitch Perfect 2Taken 3Kingsman: The Secret Service and Home were also secured by FX. If you don't mind watching an edited flick without the curse words, then be sure to catch the premiere on television when Straight Outta Compton leaves theaters.

The topic of much conversation these last few weeks has been Straight Outta Compton. From interactive promotional campaigns, to Dr. Dre's Compton album, which debuted at No. 2 on Billboard 200, and Ice Cube reviewing "Straight Outta Compton" annotations on Rap Genius, Cube, Dre and the crew have been everywhere in the media.
