That was quick. Chief Keef is doubling down on his most recent release, Bang 3. The Chicago rapper, who is currently exiled in Beverly Hills, recently announced he will be dropping a second volume of the new project. Taking to his Instagram account, Sosa posted a video advertisement for the album which will be dropping on Aug. 18 via Film On Entertainment. Keef also promo'd the project on Twitter typing, "y'all ain't ready for the rest of bang 3."

It's pretty unconventional to drop two projects within weeks of each other, but then again, Chief Keef isn't your conventional artist. Especially when it comes to dropping new projects. In the past, he has announced projects that never materialized and also dropped mixtapes with little or no notice. No details have been released about the new project as far as features and producers but the tracklist for the LP should be made available soon.

After managing to stay out of the headlines for most of 2015, the Glo Gang rapper has had an eventful last few months. In mid-July a rapper affiliated with his Glo Gang outfit was murdered in Chicago. Keef's attempts to do a benefit concert for one of the victims in the shooting incident was thwarted on multiple occasions after opposition from people in the city. A couple of weeks ago, the rapper announced his intentions to run for mayor of Chicago.
