People do the wildest things. While in the midst of a car chase in downtown Los Angeles, a suspected car thief hopped out of the car and began dancing in the middle of the street, according to ABC. Los Angeles police say that on Wednesday night (Aug. 26), a woman began racing through red stop lights and weaving in and out of traffic on the road. While on the crazy hunt, the woman ran over a spike strip, blowing one of her tires. Despite losing the wheel, however, the suspect continued to speed down the street. In the middle of the race, the woman stopped her car and got out to bust a move before hopping back in and continuing to flee. She's thought to have been under the influence. The tires eventually gave out and authorities rushed to remove the suspect from the vehicle. Once police were able to subdue the woman, she was taken into custody near East 8th Street in Downtown L.A.

Of course, none of this would be particularly newsworthy from a hip-hop perspective until taking into account this second video, taken from the scene:

That's right, this woman wasn't just dancing to anything. She was dancing to Future and Drake's "Where Ya At," which seems to be a totally reasonable decision to make. Possibly she had seen the pair's recent music video, which you can watch below, and wanted to mimic some of DJ Esco and Metro Boomin's more ridiculous dance moves. Who's to know what was going through her mind? Does it matter? No comment from either Future or Drake on the matter at hand.
