News broke in early June that Flow of Young Money was wanted for a double murder in New Orleans after he became a suspect in the shooting deaths of brothers Kendrick and Kendred Bishop. According to a report from The Times-Picayune, Flow, whose government name is Widner Degruy, was arrested yesterday (July 1) and faces two counts of second-degree murder. The report states that Degruy's accomplice, Jonathan Evans, was arrested on Sat. (June 27) after a former New Orleans Police Department officer saw him walking the streets with a gun. Evans' warrant states that "investigators identified Degruy as a suspect after finding his cellphone at the scene of the brothers' shoting."

Degruy was questioned on Memorial Day but was let go despite "inconsistent statements." The rapper told police that the two brothers had dropped him and a currently unknown person off at Degruy's home and said they would be back to pick him up after running an errand. The rapper told police that when the brothers didn't return, he opened the front door to his home and heard gunshots. At that point, the rapper ran down the street to the car and saw the brothers dead in their Kia.

The warrant also states that surveillance footage showed the rapper and another man running down the street from the scene with an assault rifle. Following the shootings, Flow posted a tribute to one of the brothers on his Instagram page:
