There are a handful of Compton rappers who currently sit atop the major label hierarchy. Kendrick Lamar is nearing a point of total saturation; YG's 2013 debut was one of the most beloved records in some time. But if Problem can't quite reach those commercial heights, it won't be because he's been out-worked. Today (July 2), he drops his second mixtape in three days, Mollywood 3: The Relapse (B-Side). Preceded by the first installment from June 30, the new set features verses from Freddie Gibbs, Iamsu!, Cashout and Manolo Rose, among others (hook from Omarion, anybody?), as well as multiple contributions each from Bad Lucc and StoneyThaDealer. Things are perhaps even more high profile on the other side of the boards, with Salva, 1500 or Nothin and Terrace Martin contributing beats, alongside those from Problem himself.

"Mollywood 3 is what's needed right now," Problem says of the double-sided project. "I'm not satisfied with how the club, the streets, nor how the playlists in all the ladies cars sounds like right now."He goes on to say he was "inspired by independence" to drop the two halves on different days, as opposed to together in one package. The first installment contains most of the same personnel, and can be streamed in its entirety below. In addition to the full-length sets, Problem let loose with the video for "This Is My Life," off of the B-side. You can catch that down at the bottom as well. Problem is best known for his carefully curated mixtapes, which in the past have included regional hits and collaborations with respected artists such as E-40.
