Someone Started a Go Fund Me to Help Meek Mill Record His Drake Response

Rap music is great in that it often forces artists to step up. When one MC begins beefing with another, they often duke it out in the studio, allowing their craft to speak for itself.

Hip-hop's latest feud is between Drake and Meek Mill, which started with Milly accusing Drake of not penning his own verses. Meek referenced "R.I.C.O," a track that appears on the Philly rapper's recent Dreams Worth More Than Money. He said that had he known Drake used a ghostwriter, the T Dot native wouldn't have appeared on his new album. Drake took his time, but ended up dropping a diss track called "Charged Up" in response. The track included a few lines where Drizzy took shots and Meek. The "All Eyes On You" rapper was expected to drop a response via Funkmaster Flex, but he ended up sharing a random Tumblr video instead. Ebro later explained the delay, saying the Philly native's camp never sent Hot 97 the record to begin with.

Hip-hop fans, however, will not rest until Meek Mill drops a Drake response track. Someone recently created a Go Fund Me page aimed at helping Meek raise the funds needed to record a diss track for Drizzy. The initial for the page was set at $3,000, however, after 14 hours, it only managed to raise $10. The page has since been deleted. Earlier this morning (July 29), Drake dropped yet another diss track, "Back to Back." This time, he goes in on the MMG signee even more, coming at his rhyming skills, lack of a response, and his relationship with Young Money's Nicki Minaj. Nicki's ex-boyfriend, Safaree "SB" Samuels joined in on the conversation too, dropping his own diss track. The streets are waiting, Meek.
