"So this is rap now!" Meek Mill is fed up. Though he dropped his response track, "Wanna Know," less than seven days after Drake drew first blood with "Charged Up," he's been raked over the Internet coals for failing to do so sooner. Furthermore, the comments that sparked the beef in the first place--specifically, Meek's allegations that Drake uses ghostwriters--have yet to be properly addressed. So while Drake continues to diss Meek for having a rich, famous girlfriend, the reference tracks continue to leak out, and Meek wants that to be acknowledged by the rap-listening public. Just this morning (July 31), the Philadelphia star took to Instagram to vent his frustrations. "You can have a n#%ga write ya raps and that's acceptable," he taunts, "just like in the streets you can tell on people and still b the man and get the same respect as the next man!"

Quentin Miller has responded to the notion that he's ghostwritten for Drake, saying that he's been properly credited and feels they worked in tandem. Some observers have pointed out that, while Miller's name does pop up in the liner notes, it could never before be assumed that the unknown crafted the entirety of the lyrics and vocal approach for the songs. However, while Miller is credited as a writer on the If You're Reading This It's Too Late tracks "10 Bands," "No Tellin," "Used To," he also laid down a reference vocal for "Know Yourself," calling into question the extent of his uncredited work.
