Today, July 13, is the  birthday of New York rhymer Mark Williams, better known as Mickey Factz. He is now 36 years of age.

This Bronx born rapper and former member of the XXL Freshmen Class often uses comedy and smarts to deliver both an entertaining and intellectual rap. Factz has worked with Pharrell, Lupe Fiasco, Cory Gunz and often pulls from throwbacks of tunes he grew up with to create is own blended sound of old and new. He dropped his full-length first project Flashback Vol.1: Back to the Future in 2007 followed by The Leak, Vol.1: The Understanding which featured the socio political song "I'm Sean (50 Shots More)" inspired by the death of Sean Bell in 2006.

A growing internet sensation with deep rooted hip-hop origins, Factz was hard to ignore and he was named a XXL Freshman in 2009.

Though he may not be dominating radio play like some other former Freshmen, Factz continues to drop conceptual mixtapes and speak out on issue affecting the black community.

Happy Birthday, Mickey Factz!
