When music fans and the Internet at large converge on Chicago's Union Park this July 17-19, they're going to be thirsty. The humid Midwestern summer, the long festival hours, the unmitigated heat radiating from Young Thug's set--dozens of factors are going to conspire to make the crowd reach for the nearest drink. With the help of Chi-town based brewery Goose Island, they might be ordering a beer created with the help of their local hip-hop upstart, Chance The Rapper. Redeye Chicago reports that Goose Island's brewmaster, Jared Jankowski, consulted the rapper by phone to come up with the 5.3 percent Helles-style lager. Called No Collar, the brewery says that it was made as per Chance's wish to make a drink "for the hardworking people of Chicago" that would be "exactly what you want to drink after a long day of work."

Chance is fresh off dropping Surf, the album he worked on with his creative collective, The Social Experiment. After Glastonbury, he caught up with DJ Semtex for BBC and announced that a single called "Paradise" will be out soon, to be followed by a new solo rap project. The next LP will be Chance's first since his breakthrough mixtape Acid Rap, which hit the Internet in 2013. Other rappers at Pitchfork will be Vince Staples, Run the Jewels, A$AP Ferg, iLoveMakonnen and Freddie Gibbs, who will be performing with his Pinata collaborator, Madlib. This will be the festival's tenth year; the 2014 edition welcomed some 50,000 guests.
