For those who remember last year's Migos-spiked edition at RFK Stadium, Trillectro 2015 will be a mellowing out of sorts. Announced today (July 9), the festival will be anchored by Chance The Rapper, RL Grime, Dom Kennedy, Kehlani and more. That "more" includes Cashmere Cat, the electronic artist who shares a production credit on Kanye West's nascent "Wolves" and renowned DJ JMSN. The 2015 edition of the festival will take place in Maryland's Merriweather Post Pavilion on August 29. Other artists performing are D.R.A.M., Chris McClenney, Masego, Babeo Baggins, Mista Selecta, Hi$to, Nativesun and Ayes Cold. You can keep up to date with ticket info, schedules and more by following Trillectro's organizers on their Twitter account.

As for the headliner, Chance The Rapper's fans have been clamoring for new music for some time now. Despite his contributions to The Social Experiment's free album Surf, the Chicago wunderkind has yet to drop a proper solo follow-up to 2013's Acid Rap, the mixtape that served as his breakthrough to national audiences. After his recent performance at the UK's Glastonbury festival, Chance caught up with DJ Semtex and talked at length about Surf, politics and his forays into film. He also revealed that "Paradise," a song that he's trotted out at live shows for more than a year now, will soon see its studio release and that it will be the single from his forthcoming solo effort. Dom Kennedy, the Leimert Park rapper responsible for much of LA's summer soundtrack, recently dropped an album of his own, By Dom Kennedy.
