A$AP Ferg says he's dropping a new album this year. The Harlem rapper sat down with Revolt at the Pitchfork Music Festival where he gave details about the forthcoming project.

"I'm working on my album. The album is coming out this year, definitely," he said. "I got a lot of collaborations on there. I got a a lot of my own songs on there. So far, everybody I played it for said it was crazy. I was in the studio with Pharrell, I was in the studio with Madonna, they said 'oh, this is crazy.' These are people that I look up to, so, if they say they like it, it means a lot."

The A$AP Mob member doesn't give any further details regarding features or producers, but at least we can expect new material before the year's end. The new project will be Ferg's sophomore LP, a follow up to his debut album Trap Lord. Back in April, XXL spoke with the 26-year old spitta about his next LP. Ferg shared that fans will get a sense of his growth and innovation on his new record, with him "[stepping] out  the box" this time around.

"Now I have some money so I can travel," Ferg said. "I still live in Harlem, so I ain’t change in that way. I traveled the world. I worked with everyone from Madonna to Skrillex down to Nick Jonas all the way to like... Every-fucking-body. Jennifer Hudson down to, like, Rowdy Rebel before he got locked up. There’s a lot of unreleased stuff for folks to look forward to. Just gaining knowledge from other people. I’m a people person, so I just love to feel the vibes that other people got to give. I think I’ve been feeding off of that and being very inspired."
