As 50 Cent continues to battle it out in court with Rick Ross' baby mama Lastonia Leviston, the rapper's finances have repeatedly been called into question. Last week a judge declared that despite Fif's filing of bankruptcy, the case would proceed as scheduled and his lawyer team was back in court on Mon., July 20 and Tues., July 21. The New York Post reports that on Monday, while Fifty sat outside in a chauffeured Chevy truck, his lawyer, James Renard, argued that his client is the victim in the case and demanded a mistrial claiming that his "concern is there might have been exposure to media that might have influenced the jurors."

The judge rejected the mistrial request and Fifty was due in court this morning to testify. In a revealing testimony, Fifty opened up by apologizing to Leviston saying, "I'm sorry if you feel like I hurt you." According to the New York Daily News, the rapper's finances were then called into question--remember, 50 allegedly owes Leviston $5 million in damages and another $23 million to other creditors--and Renard told jurors that Fifty's net worth was $4.4 million, not the Forbes-reported $155 million.

Leivston's lawyer has argued that 50 is worth much more, citing his successful music career amongst other notches in Fifty's belt, but when the rapper took the stand he testified that he "takes the jewelry and cars back to the stores," and that he only "makes ten cents a record." The entrepreneur also said that he earned $100,000 a piece for his roles in Spy and Southpaw and $150,000 for his involvement in his television show, Power. He also said that he is worried about the overall health of his brand saying, "Now that I filed for bankruptcy, I'm not as cool as I was last week."
