The 2015 XXL Freshman Class performed in Club Nokia in Los Angeles. Fans packed the downtown Los Angeles venue and waited patiently to see the new crop of talent take the stage tonight (July 13). The show, which featured the new XXL Freshman Class, was the place to be. DJ Skee was the host of the evening. Compared to the XXL Freshmen in the New York show, the L.A. ran a lot smoother. The missing freshmen were Tink, DeJ Loaf, Raury and Vince Staples.

First up was GoldLink, who missed performing at the New York show because of flight problems. He started off the show by rattling off hits from his breakout EP The God Complex and new singles like "Aquafina" and "Sober Thoughts." Just when concertgoers thought things couldn't get crazier, Kidd Kidd made his XXL Freshman debut. On June 30, as he walked into the Best Buy Theater, the New Orleans rapper was arrested for allegedly assaulting and strangling a woman in a domestic dispute. This time, he took the stage to a roaring crowd and didn't disappoint. After performing his singles, he brought out 50 Cent as his special guest. Together they performed "Big Body Benz." Fiddy also performed "I Get Money" and other classic hits. Kidd ended the show with his hit single "Ejected." Following the G-Unit members was OG Maco, who also missed the NYC show because he was too ill. He performed hits off his upcoming debut major label album, Children of The Rage.

At this point Skee gave the crowd a breather (read: sort of a breather). He played bangers as fans went to refill their drinks. Things kicked back up when Shy Glizzy and the Glizzy Gang came out performing hits like "White Girls," "Thank You," "Awwsome" and "Funeral." After, K Camp took things to another level. The Interscope signee ran through his hits, "Comfortable," "Lil Bit," "Cut Her Off" and more. The biggest surprise was Camp bringing out Ty Dolla $ign. Ty performed his new hit single "Blasé." After a 10 minute break, Fetty took the stage and rattled off his hits, "679," "My Way," "Trap Queen" and more. The crowd was loving Fetty and singing along. By the end of the night, with XXL Freshman season was pretty much over. But it's safe to say the class has had and an incredible run and might be one of the best.
