Out of nowhere, Tyga just made available his new album The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty in full on Spotify. The 12-track LP features guest appearances from Lil Wayne, A.E., and Boosie Badazz. It is was executive produced by Kanye and Mike Dean plus all art were made by Donda. It's not available to purchase on iTunes as of yet but it will be next Tuesday, according to one of Tyga's rep. A song that's missing from the album was the Kanye West and Mike Dean-produced single "40 Mill" however it's unclear at the moment if that was just a promotional single or will included in a bonus version of the LP. "Pleezer" the FKi-produced banger off the LP dropped recently.

What's interesting to note is that the album appears to be credited on Spotify to Last Kings Music and not Cash Money/Young Money. T-Raw is in the middle of ongoing issues with Cash Money Records and he is trying to get off of the label. Amidst all the label drama, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty was pushed back three times. Tyga announced his frustrations with Cash Money records before and later revealed he would be moving forward with the release of The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty as an independent artist. During am during a Power 106 Cali Christmas interview, the California native confirmed he’s getting out of his deal, revealed why he felt boxed in at the label plus agreed with Lil Wayne’s decision to speak out about the creative mistreatment.

“The album is done so like I’m going to put it out independently,” said Tyga. “I’m just getting out my deal right now. I feel like as an artist, at the end of the day, what we do creatively should never be imprisoned and at the end of the day we do it to bring it to the fans. It’s not a selfish thing — it’s just not fair to the fans. You’ve got millions of people who want your music and they don’t understand the behind-the-scenes of the politics.”

It's going to be interesting to see who distributes his album when it hits iTunes. XXL has reached out to Tyga's reps for comment. Stream the new album below.
