After more than a decade on the mixtape circuit, countless acclaimed freestyles, two failed deals with Bad Boy and countless other complications, King Los has finally delivered his debut album. God Money War, released through RCA, has been a long time in the making. Sporting guest spots from Ty Dolla $ign, R. Kelly, Isaiah Rashad, Marsha Ambrosius and more (including Diddy himself), Los strives to show more dynamism than he has on his mixtape efforts. Though previous singles "Ghetto Boy," "Glory to the Lord" and "Can't Fade Us" appear here, the album is anchored by its opening song, "War." The Marsha Ambrosius collaboration typifies God Money War with its technical approach to songs about sociopolitical issues.
