"If you ain't got no haters, you ain't poppin'" bellows Rico Richie in the video for "Poppin" for a phrase that is slowly but surely starting to take over social media. Hitting the club, standing on couches, popping bottles while surrounded by voluptuous women spliced between shots of Rico shopping and comedy skits from DC Young Fly is the recipe for this one, but the video isn't overly important, it's more about keeping momentum up for a song that is starting to gain major traction. The 808 Mafia-produced "Poppin" just got the remix treatment from French Montana, Chris Brown and Meek Mill (sadly, Rico didn't make the cut on his own song) and now that the official video has dropped, "Poppin" has a real shot at becoming a smash before Labor Day. With a banger on his hands and plenty of recognition likely coming his way, Rico Richie is about to have a ton of haters on his hands. Fortunately for him, that only means good things.
