Yesterday (June 8) was Kanye West's 38th birthday and a lot of celebrities celebrated the occasion with him. After penning a heartfelt open letter to Yeezy, his wife Kim Kardashian rented out the Staple Center in L.A. and threw 'Ye a surprise basketball game.

Kim and others shared some of the moments from the game via Instagram. NBA players like Russell Westbrook and John Wall, as well as, Justin Bieber, Tyga and Pusha T came through to play in the pickup game. According to TMZJames Harden and 2 Chainz were the coaches for the day, while John Salley announced. John Legend sang happy birthday to 'Ye plus the National Anthem. Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Carmelo Anthony, Shaquille O'Neal and Scottie Pippin made videos that played on the jumbotron.

To make things as real as possible, Kim also hired cheerleaders from the Los Angeles Lakers and actual NBA referees. Mrs. West allegedly paid $100,000 for the big day, which Yeezy enjoyed from the looks of things. Check out photos and videos from the big day below.
