Pusha T Still Has Braids

Remember back in May when Pusha T said he cut his braids off and made the internet think the world is ending? Well it's sad to report today that Push—probably one of the best rapper of our time—is a liar. A liar may be too strong of a word to use but the Virginia native still has braids (thank God) and the initial report was probably just a joke, which every music publication fell for. King Push performed in Brooklyn at the House of Vans with Vince Staples and he was spotted with a fresh retwist of his braids.

In the picture shown above that was captured by XXL Staffer and all around good guy Roger Kratz, Pusha is clearly donning braids under his headband. Also if you follow his Instagram, a few pictures show him with braids after he made the announcement he cut his hair. So the world isn't ending.

On May 5, Push took a IG pic of himself apparently receiving a $2,500 facial in Hong Kong. The caption was "Just cut my braids off, now it's time for my 2500 dollar facial..." Why are you so mean Pusha?

In other news, Pusha T attended Kanye West's surprise birthday basketball pickup game at the Staples Center. He also warned fans about Venue Sports Lounge, a bar and grill in Virginia Beach. The Clipse member said in a series of tweets and Instagram pics about the establishments racist business practices. Read his message below.

These "imaginary guest list" u impose on potential black patrons is a slap in the face to the Great Neck community, Virginia Beach, and the 757 as a whole. I will never come there again. You didn't know me last night but u will learn everything abt me. And u will correct this wrong.
