366 people have filed a Form 2 statement of candidacy with the Federal Election Commission but none are more interesting Princess Khadijah M. Jacob-Fambro. The Revolutionary Party candidate from California used the form to make a marriage proposal to the rapper Lil Wayne. "From one alien to another alien, 'Lil Wayne' Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. 'President Carter' will you marry me? I am God!!! President Princess Khadijah M. Jacob-Fambro," wrote Fambro on the From 2 statement of candidacy. She even added smiley face in the message (see below).

Now that's sweet. Her form—which was The form was filed shortly after the 2012 presidential election—recently came to light in a New York Times article discussing the growing list of presidential candidates. But how was the San Francisco woman able to become an official candidate? All a person needs is free time to complete the required F.E.C. forms.

“The only requirement to file that form is if they raise or spend more than $5,000,” said Christian Hilland, a spokesperson for the Federal Election Commission. “But they can certainly file before that, and I would imagine that some of them have not reached that threshold yet. Anyone can file that F.E.C form.”

They're other really interesting candidates.  Kevin Deame filed his papers in April and is running under the “Pirate Party.” John Green Ferguson of Texas wants to recycle every piece of trash in the country. There's also Thomas Keister who's running under the banner of the Marijuana Party.
