A week after releasing the stream to his ferocious freestyle over Meek Mill's iconic "Dreams & Nightmares" intro, Jacksonville MC Mob Squad Nard unleashes the video to the track and announces that he has signed on the dotted line with Cinematic Music Group.

Cinematic, run by Jonny Shipes, is the home to Joey Bada$$, Pro Era, Mick Jenkins and Big K.R.I.T., among others. Mob Squad Nard, gearing up for the release of his debut solo project Everything Clean But Da Ashtray due out later this summer, came up as part of Jacksonville's Mob Squad crew under Mob Boss' Hustle House Records over the past few years. The 25-year-old MC explained to XXL why he decided to make the move to Cinematic.

"Shipes came into the jungle and seen what it was and felt like he could fuck with it," Nard said via email. "He told me something and stuck with it. That's something I can do business with; he kept it real with me. He told me how this was going to be and this is what it is. I saw how he runs Cinematic and I mess with it. I mess with Joey's movement and all the artists. I'm with it. I'm gonna put on for this."

"Nard is one of those rare MCs that is able to take his experiences in the street and paint the most vivid pictures, which is exactly what I look for when I sign an artist to Cinematic," Shipes said in a statement to XXL. "I wanna be drawn into and able to feel whatever that artist is talking about. I heard Nard one time and knew that I needed to work with him. I'm excited for the world to hear what we've been working on."

The video, directed by Anthony Prince, is a dark visual that follows the main character from prison to selling bail bonds to the high life, before he goes off the rails again. Check that visual out above and keep an eye out for Everything Clean But Da Ashtray on the way later this year.
