MC Supreme, known for his song "Black In America" from the We're All in the Same Gang compilation album, was pronounced dead at the scene after a pickup truck crashed into his parked car on the shoulder of California's Pacific Coast Highway early Saturday morning. The 46-year-old, whose real name is Dewayne Coleman, was traveling with a woman passenger who was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries, according to ABC.

Coleman was hit by 34-year-old Philip Torres II, who was treated for minor injuries and arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and DUI. After he hit Coleman's Honda Civic, Torres' pickup truck flipped over and hit another parked vehicle with two passengers who were not injured in the crash.

Coleman's sister, Irene Coleman, told City News Service that her brother "was a positive person, dedicated to working with young people" to keep kids from getting involved in gangs. She also told the outlet that Mike Tyson walked out to her brother's song "Black In America" before hitting the ring for a fight in the '90s.

We're All in the Same Gang featured a star-studded lineup that spread an anti-gang message. The song's standout track, "We're All in the Same Gang," was produced by Dr. Dre and featured Ice-T, Tone Loc, MC Ren, Eazy-E, Digital Underground, MC Hammer and more.
