The Game's legal woes don't seem to be impacting the rapper's ability to go out and have fun. According to a report from TMZ, the Compton native dropped upwards of $40 racks at the Playhouse club in Hollywood and hours later showed up for a court date as a defendant against Onyebuchi Awaji, an off-duty LAPD officer whom The Game punched during a basketball game. TMZ cameras caught The Game both at the club and a few hours later outside the courthouse:

The Game turned himself into police in early June and pled not guilty to felony criminal threat and misdemeanor assault during the morning proceeding. Awaji claims that after the rapper punched him, he threatened to kill him. The Game counter argues that Awaji implied that he was going to go to his gym bag and get his gun. The matter will play out in both criminal and civil court as The Game is being sued for $12 million. Check out the breakdown of damages below:

Pain and suffering: $1 million
Emotional distress: $1 million
Medical expenses (to date): $50,000
Medical expenses (future): $100,000
Punitive damages: $10 million

The Game's new album, The Documentary 2, is slated for an August release and allegedly features producers such as Dr. Dre, Pharrell, Swizz Beatz, Timbaland, Alchemist, DJ Premier and Scott Storch. The Game recently linked up with Drake for "100," which has definitely shaken the block and gotten people excited about the Los Angeles rapper's upcoming, long-awaited project.
