Chance The Rapper brought out Kendrick Lamar at the Teens in the Park (TIP) Festival in Chicago yesterday (June 24). Kendrick's arrival was a total surprise for the teens.

The event was free for attendees between the ages of 13 and 24. Chance was announced as the musical curator for the event a couple of weeks back. The free festival featured performances from Donnie Trumpet and the Social Experiment and and Chi-town bop artist DLow. While at the festival, the attendees also got to experience break dancing, graffiti and jewelry making.

Chano and Kendrick recently performed together at Bonnaroo during Earth Wind & Fire's set where they freestyled as the band rocked on. Check out footage of K.Dot's performance at TIP Fest via FakeShoreDrive and Lyrical Lemonade below.

Since his rise to fame Chance has used his stature to put on for the youth of his city. The talented artist hosts a twice-a-month “Open Mike” event for high school students that is becoming more and more high profile. At the most recent event, Vic Mensa, Kanye West and former NBA great Scottie Pippen joined the party. In January, Chance teamed up with his brother Taylor Bennett and Sway to raise $100,000 for the Get Schooled program. The money raised was donated to six elementary schools to help pay for new technology equipment.
