Snoop Dogg is getting animated.

He will guest star on an upcoming episode of Nickelodeon's cartoon series Sanjay & Craig. The episode will air May 17 at 7:30 p.m. Snoops's character—who is named "Street Dog"—becomes the next door neighbor to the 12-year-old protagonist and his pet snake. He's moves into the quiet suburb to get away from the fast life of  L.A. so he can record music. The West Caost OG will also perform a fun G-rated song titled "On Our Block." The lyrics in the song are interesting: "This place feels like a nice change of pace/See on my block it's all about cars and gold chains." Hopefully "On Our Block" will go viral and land No. 1 on Billboard 100.

Billboard got their hands on a clip of the episode and spoke to the show creator, Jim Dirschberger.

"Snoop learned the material on the spot—and blew our minds," he said. "He owned the material and expanded on dialog and musical numbers. He's an excellent actor with a great sense of humor. Best of all, he is a kid at heart."

You can view the show clip here. Judging from the sneak peak, the episode looks like a rap musical. The neighborhood children all take their stab at displaying their lyrical prowess. Snoop released his new album BUSH on Tuesday (May 12).
