Over the past couple of months there has been a number of rappers speaking at universities such as Oxford, Harvard and more. Most recently Lil Jon gave a lecture to students at Oxford about politics, reality television, President Obama and Kanye West. Earlier this year Bun B and Professor Anthony Pinn brought their Hip-Hop and Religion class at Rice University online because of the rise in popularity. Both men spoke to us about the move and how hip-hop has gradually been inching closer and closer into academia. If a MC was your college professor would you listen?

Here's a list of 11 rappers lecturing in universities.
