Kanye West is bursting at the seems with amazing ideas of his own, but we all use a little inspiration from outside sources sometimes. During an interview with UK's The Sun, now frequent West collaborator Paul McCartney recently revealed Kanye drew from The Beatles song "Let It Be" when he created his ode to daughter North, "Only One."

According to the rock legend, the heartfelt Yeezy track came about shortly after a conversation the two had about a song Paul wrote shortly after the death of his mother who came to him in a dream and said, "Don't worry it's all going to be fine, just let it be." The dream inspired the track, "Let It Be." Upon hearing the passionate story, West immediately started penning what would become, "Only One," a message to Kanye from the perspective of his late mother, Donda West. He premiered the track, which features McCartney and video a short time later.

Since then, the two have worked extensively on West's upcoming LP, So Help Me God. McCartney is on Yeezy's newest single, "All Day" along with Allan Kingdom and Theophilus London. He is also featured on the West assisted Rihanna track, "Four, Five, Seconds" Can you imagine Paul McCartney in the studio working on "All Day?" We can't either, but apparently the two musical legends have bridged the gap just fine.
