OG Maco is moving on up. Quality Control Music signed a new joint venture with Capitol Music Group and Motown Records. QCM artists will be worked on by Motown and other divisions within CMG. The first release under the deal will be Maco's debut LP Children Of The Rage towards the end of the year.

After making major moves on the indie route, the rising Atlanta MC has a major label backing him now. The "U Guessed It" rapper initially revealed the news on Sunday (May 17) via Instagram, which he soon deleted. In the photo, Maco posed with Head of Urban Music & Motown’s Senior VP Ethiopia Habtemaram, Capitol Records’ CEO Steve Barnett and Quality Control Founders Kevin “Coach K” Lee and Pierre “Pee” Thomas. The caption read, “The deal is done. We just went major!!!! Thank you to everyone who’s supported me to this point, I couldn’t have done it without you. Let the hate begin!!!! OGG™ QC™.”

He also announced the deal through his Twitter account typing, "Deal complete. I just singed major." Followed by, "And now that I'm worth a nice check Ima need some peace from whatever woman trippin on me." Read those tweets below.
