While Offset waits for his release from a Georgia jail, the Migos machine moves ceaselessly forward--mostly. The Atlanta trio's commercial debut, YRN Tha Album, was recently pushed back a handful of weeks, mainly due to Offset's incarceration and the legal labyrinth all three members face after a recent arrest. However, the record is still due July 31, and the group's label, 300 Entertainment, has taken to Instagram to share the bold, predictably gaudy 3D artwork. Offset, Takeoff and Quavo are posed in a way reminiscent of the cover for their breakthrough 2013 mixtape, Young Rich Niggas, but appear as if from a future where the roads are paved with white gold and everyone speaks in triplets.

In addition to the six-week push-back for the album, a planned Migos tour has been temporarily delayed. The original list of shows, available here, has the correct venue information for each city, but rescheduled dates have yet to be announced. YRN Tha Album is preceded by singles "Origin"--which taunts those observers fixated on tracing the lineage of the group's distinctive flows--and the lean, minimal "One Time." Since they became prominent in 2013, Migos have been hailed as stylistic innovators, and have enjoyed steady mainstream press coverage on the strength of hits like "Fight Night," "China Town" and "Handsome & Wealthy."
