Kelly Clarkson and Jay Z come from different points on the pop spectrum (well, sometimes), but it seems as if the first American Idol winner doesn't mind. In a video posted by Australian radio station KIISFM, Clarkson reveals that she finds the Marcy-bred rapper very attractive. "Any kind of confident dude is hot, right?" the singer asked, after giving a resounding "Yes" when asked if she found Hov handsome. As for a slightly younger Roc-A-Fella veteran, though, things didn't go so smoothly. "He's a little too confident," she joked about Kanye West.

With little new music to his stage name, the man born Mr. Carter has been gobbling up headlines for Tidal, the music streaming service he recently bought, re-named and re-branded as an artist-first platform that delivers music in high fidelity. Tidal has come under tremendous scrutiny; many commentators have criticized the rollout for featuring rich, major label artists almost exclusively. There has been uncertainty as to the upside the service offers to labels, to artists and to consumers. However, what appears to be a leaked earning statement from an independent label seems to suggest that Tidal is paying more per stream than Spotify, currently the industry leader. Last year, digital music streaming surpassed CD sales for the first time. Jay's last album was 2013's Magna Carta...Holy Grail. Helmed largely by Timbaland, the album spawned hits in "Tom Ford" and the Justin Timberlake-featuring title track.
