Earlier this year, Vice landed an interview with President Obama. It was a remarkable coup, but not wholly unexpected--the media conglomerate has grown exponentially over the past few years, with its tentacles wrapped around nearly every facet of the entertainment industry. Now, Vice is targeting traditional television and, the New York Times reports, is in talks with Kanye West about producing an original TV show. At press time, details are scant about the project, but he would be joining rapper Action Bronson at the company--the one-time chef from Queens released his debut album, Mr. Wonderful, through Atlantic Records and Vice.

While a foray into television would be a new venture for West, he has already enjoyed tremendous success in diversifying from music. The debut of his Adidas fashion line earlier this year was met with mostly positive reactions from fans and professionals both in and outside of the fashion world. As for the records, West is hard at work on his forthcoming seventh solo effort. The album, originally titled So Help Me God, has since been changed to Swish (though in the tweet that announced the change, the Chicagoan reserved the right to switch to a third title at any time). Swish is preceded by "Only One" and "All Day," each of which features former Beatle Paul McCartney; the latter also sports contributions from Allan Kingdom and Theophilus London. No release date has been announced, but the album is expected in the coming weeks or months.
