Hip-Hop Reacts to the Death of Chinx

Early this morning (May 17), Queens rapper Chinx, was killed in a shooting. He was 31-years-old.

Born Lionel Pickens in Far Rockaway Queens, Chinx Drugz was a member of French Montana’s Coke Boys crew, and signed to French’s record label of the same name.

Chinx was transported to Jamaica Medical Center at around 5am, with gunshot wounds to his torso. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

With scarce details known about Chinx’s untimely death, members of the hip-hop community are sharing their condolences for the rapper via social media.
