Today, May 11, is the birthday of Florida rapper Ace Hood! The rapper is now 30 years of age.

Born and raised in Florida, Ace Hood started dabbling in rap from the time he was in high school. In 2007, Hood signed to DJ Khaled's We the Best Music Group after meeting Khaled outside a Florida radio show. Ace was featured on popular Khaled posse cuts including the remix to “Bitches & Bottles (Let’s Get It Started)" and started to gain more attention after dropping his debut album Gutta in 2008 and Ruthless in 2009.

After being named a XXL Freshman in 2009, Hood continued the hits with his third and fourth albums, Blood, Sweat and Tears (2011) and Trials & Tribulations (2013). Each LP spawned a couple of his biggest singles to date, "Hustle Hard" and the infectious hit, "Bugatti."

Ace still frequently collabs with Usher, T.I., Meek Mill, Rick Ross French Montana, Birdman, and more. Hood dropped his latest tape, the 12-track Body Bag 4, in November of 2016  before dropping loosies like "Guess Who" and "Remember."

Ace continued his musical prolificacy into 2017 and 2018. On Aug. 21, 2017, the rapper dropped off The Processan effort filled with bangers and all of Ace's typically emotional lyrics. Since then he's continued dropping off loosie after loosie as he preps his Trials and Tribulations follow up album. For his 2018 birthday, Ace pulled up with his new Trust The Process II: Undefeated project. What better way to celebrate the big 3-0?

Happy Birthday, Ace Hood!
