At the beginning of "Real Niggaz," from the Diplomats' seminal Diplomatic Immunity, Cam'ron tells of a jarringly no-frills argument with his mother: "I argue with my mother, spring, summer, fall, wintertime/'Get that off the table, Cam'ron, it's dinner time'/I got a line downstairs, ma, I'm on the grind/From 10 to 9, you do your business, let me attend to mine/You cookin' pork anyway, I ain't into swine." Even if you don't bicker with your mother about when and where you can cook crack, this Sunday is a time to let her know how much you care. Cam's here to help--he and his own mom have crafted a Mother's Day card perfect for the occasion. If you want to bless the woman who gave you life with a photo of the Dipset capo smoking a blunt with his ma, now you can do that. The cards are available online at Huggin' The Block.

Cam has suggested that this might be his last year in hip-hop, at least inside the vocal booth: Purple Haze 2, slated for December, looks as if it will be his final album. His old Diplomats family are enjoying a victory lap of sorts, having teamed up for a reunion tour and a nascent mixtape. The title of the solo album is, of course, culled from his 2004 Roc-A-Fella opus.
