Last night (May 26) at his New York concert, Boosie BadAzz walked off stage after performing only one song. Fans had seen the Baton Rouge legend vomit, and what began as confusion became a distinct anti-climax as fans filed out of the venue. Rumors swirled as to what caused the rapper's health problems, but a TMZ report seems to confirm that it was related to a lack of diabetes medication. Apparently, instead of New York, the bags containing Boosie's insulin were sent to Philadelphia, meaning that the rapper was without it before his performance. As he said, "Shit happens when you have diabetes, but I feel good now."

Boosie is moving on, heading to Nebraska for another show. This week marked the release of Touchdown 2 Cause Hell, his first album since his incarceration at Louisiana's notorious Angola prison. It features contributions from some of today's most exciting MCs (Rich Homie Quan, Young Thug, J. Cole) as well as Southern stalwarts (Jeezy, T.I.), not to mention his old partner, Webbie. The album is rawer and less contemplative than Life After Deathrow, last year's post-prison mixtape that hinged on laments for his cellmates and the psychological torture of wondering about your friends on the outside. Boosie has spoken candidly about his battle with diabetes, both on and off records.
