Uncle Sam is out there somewhere doing the patented Birdman hand rub. According to TMZ, Birdman is $2 million lighter after being hit with two federal tax liens that required him to catch up on back taxes. The report says the music mogul didn't waste any time paying up after the IRS threatened to repossess his property and assets if he didn't pay. Within a few months, the debt was paid off.

Birdman's issues with the IRS may be cleared up but his tiff with Lil Wayne continues on.  In Jan., Weezy filed a $51 million lawsuit against Baby and Cash Money Records claiming they owed the rapper $10 million for not releasing The Carter V in October. Since the initial lawsuit, Wayne has publicly blasted Birdman while his father-figure has been mum, only spoken through sources who say the Cash Money Records co-founder is "deeply offended" by Wayne's actions and won't let him leave the label. It's been close to eight months since Tha Carter V's scheduled release date and the music world is no closer to hearing the album. Even Lil Wayne's the Free Weezy Album has been delayed numerous times already and the rapper's career appears to be in flux. Whether Tha Carter V ever sees the light of day or not, the rift between Birdman and Lil Wayne will be a lasting part of their respective legacies.
