50 Cent, Diddy, Birdman and More Win Big Off the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao Fight
Although it seems many are questioning the entertainment aspect of Saturday's showdown between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, there's no doubt about who won big money. While rappers like Diddy and 50 Cent were more boisterous with their bets, with Fif putting up $1.6 million and Puffy, $250,000; rappers like Birdman and Kidd Kidd made more low-key wagers.
Mayweather remains undefeated, taking out the Filipino champ after 12 rounds on May 2 and the Money Team witnessed their 48th win. Everyone from 50, Jay Z, Beyonce, Christina Milian and Lil Wayne, to Diddy, Cassie and even Omeeka attended the $10,000 per ticket fight, but only a few racked up bank over the festivity.
According to TMZ, 50 Cent additionally pulled in half a million bucks for a show at Drai’s Nightclub in Las Vegas over the weekend, and is set to rack up another $500K in Atlantic City, both through his Effen Vodka deal.
