Though Cam'ron recently appeared on the show to spread the anti-snitching gospel, Scarface may have taken the crown with the most eccentric guest spot from a rapper on The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore. Appearing last night (April 21), the Houston legend born Brad Jordan joined a panel that also included Wilmore, comedian Cristela Alonzo and Nightly Show contributing writer Ricky Velez. The issue at hand was a plan by Baltimore city officials to, in effect, ration water to some of the city's low-income areas. Scarface spoke first, opening with an animated--but convoluted--bit of zen: "I kind of am mad about the water companies shutting off the water, but I know that me being mad and pissed off about the water company shutting off the water won't make the water company turn the water back on. Then, there was a bizarre analogy about the morality of shooting a hawk that may or may not be trying to kill an infant. Wilmore may have had the joke of the night, however, cracking, "When I was a kid, water was so cheap, they were turning firehoses on us." Each member of the panel was equipped with a body camera, the type which may become standard issue for police officers around the nation in the near future.
