Drake's If You're Reading This It's Too Late gets the chopped and screwed treatment courtesy of mixtape legend OG Ron C. Being that Drake has an adoration for the city of Houston (so much so that June 10 has been declared "Drake Day" in the city) and his music is inspired by the city's sound, the fact that his album was chopped and screwed by one of its pioneers is a huge accomplishment. The slowed down sounds include an extended version of "Madonna" and a screwed up version of If You're Reading This It's Too Late's bonus cut, "My Side." The 20-track project can be streamed via Audiomack above.

A Houston institution, OG Ron C helped H-Town artists like Chamillionaire, Slim thug, Paul Wall and RiFF RAFF break nationally and founded Swishahouse Records along with Michael "5000" Watts. The DJ/producer/record label owner has chooped and screwed hundreds of albums for artists and groups like Three 6 Mafia, Master P, 8 Ball & MJG, Geto Boys and Lil' Flip. He recently released a chopped not slopped version of RiFF RAFF's PURPLE iCON album that has amassed hundreds of thousands of streams on Soundcloud. "My songs are made to be chopped so when you hear this NEON iCON chopped by OG Ron C that’s how I meant for it to sound," said RiFF RAFF.
