Nicki Minaj confirmed today (April 7) that she will be performing at the conclusion of the 2015 Jordan Brand Classic, an all-star game for the nation's top high school basketball recruits. The game, which takes place April 17 at Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, is the 14th annual contest thrown by Jordan, in an attempt to bring the best prep players in the nation together under one gym roof before school is out for the summer and they disperse to their respective college programs. Barclay's will also host Nicki later this year, when she swings through Brooklyn on her world tour in support of The Pinkprint, the North American leg of which will sport supporting sets from Dej Loaf, Tinashe, Rae Sremmurd and her boo Meek Mill.

The Pinkprint, released last December, received mostly positive reviews and a warm reception from Minaj's massive fanbase. Her third official solo record, it helped further establish Nicki as an entity unto herself, outside of the Cash Money/Young Money umbrella under which she became an international star. "Anaconda," "Only" and "Truffle Butter" have all become inescapable hits in North America; the latter two songs feature her label mates Drake and Lil Wayne.
