Nas will be releasing a new album this summer. The rap mogul dropped the news at a show in Orlando this weekend, telling fans new music is right around the corner.  "Right mothafunkin’ now, death to all snitches. Watch every niggas around you my niggas ‘cuz sh*t is real out here. 2015, new album this summer," said Nas in the fan video below.

A rep from Mass Appeal Records has confirmed with XXL that the new album will go through Dej Jam. The last album fans received from the Queens native came in 2012 with the release of Life is GoodSince then, Escobar has been putting in light work, appearing on a number of features, including Madonna's "Veni Vidi Vici" and "Iconic" tracks.  Nasty Nas dropped new tunes back in October 2014 with "The Season,"which is produced by J Dilla. He's also been working on a few documentaries, including Shake The Dust with GE and his own, Time is Illmatic He was also featured on the new single from De La Soul titled "God It," which is off De La's upcoming album that was funded via Kickstarter.

This year's NBA All-Star Game featured a performance by Nas, who also performed with Drake at a Sprite concert.
